    Director Certificate Manager enables organizations to quickly quantify their certificate and private key-related risk. Once quantified, it is possible to manage that risk and drastically reduce exposure. Director Certificate Manager is built on the Director platform, which for nearly a decade has enabled many of the world's largest organizations to manage their encryption environments effectively.

  • Venafi Encryption Director™ SSH Key Manager™ enables organizations to quickly develop an inventory of their SSH environment and take effective action to remedy risks and challenges. SSH Key Manager is built on the Venafi Encryption Director platform, which for nearly a decade has enabled many of the world's largest organizations to manage their encryption environments effectively.

    In order to establish a comprehensive inventory of SSH keys, Director SSH Key Manager provides both network and agent-based discovery. The network discovery identifies where SSH servers are deployed and whether those servers are configured in compliance with corporate policies, including key lengths, protocol versions (SSH v1 is considered unsecure), supported authentication methods and other information.

  • Venafi Encryption Director™ Symmetric Key Manager™ (Director Symmetric Key Manager) enables organizations to establish an enterprise inventory of symmetric keys, independent of the applications where they are deployed, then organize and track those keys. This does not require that all of the keys be stored in Director Symmetric Key Manager. It can serve as the equivalent of a card catalog for all symmetric keys, tracking a broad set of information about each key, including:

    • • Key Name
    • • Key Custodian(s)
    • • Location(s) where the key is stored
    • • Key Length
    • • Key Algorithm
    • • Individual(s) or group(s) to notify in case of issues (e.g. business application owner)
    • • Creation Date
    • • Validity Period (e.g. when should it be replaced with a new key)

    Director Symmetric Key Manager can be extended to store and track additional information for symmetric keys based on the unique requirements of an organization. In addition, the inventory of symmetric keys can be organized hierarchically to aid in tracking keys assigned to different groups.
